I think its amazing that this Government has so seriously peed off the medical profession, that they are on strike. Doctors are not hairy-*** Dockers, or British Leyland workers !

The Tories have said in the past that "The Health service is safe in their hands"......sounds rather hollow now doesn't it ?

Get rid of Hunt and we might see a way out of this log jam.

I've said it before Ive said it in Brighton these issues are far to important to let a politition any near them .Goverment should keep their noses out of it .Taxi drivers and retired council workers will get it sorted .

The BBC said this morning that the majority of the public supported the doctors. Is it because the NHS is still seen as some sacred cow that can never be touched and because they are doctors then they must be right? The sooner this worship of the NHS in it's present form is challenged and well overdue reforms are carried out to bring it into the 21st century, the better or the NHS will eventually collapse. However I doubt any political party has the guts to do it.

Thechair, you are of course entitled to your opinion, but you sit there and blame the current government but do not pass any blame on to previous governments.

The NHS does not fit the current need and something needs to be done, the doctors have been offered a huge pay award, the nurses would be happy to get a fraction of that!
