We often come across weirdos in our lives, but this particular nut job takes the biscuit !
From his Wiki entry ::::
At the heart of his theories lies the idea that a secret group of reptilian humanoids called the Babylonian Brotherhood (including George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth II, Kris Kristofferson and Boxcar Willie) controls humanity, and that many prominent figures are reptilian.
He further proposes that the Moon is an artificial construct—"probably a hollowed-out planetoid"—from which the reptilians broadcast an "artificial sense of self and the world" that humans mistakenly perceive as reality.

Pity that, I had visions of the Moon's population busily reconstructing the detritus left over from the last Moon landing into space craft or dinghies and heading here with the rest of the EU migrants, once David C convinces us all that we Remain in Europe.
What I can't work out is why Icke should be invited onto a serious current affairs program, like the one that Andrew Neil hosts ?
I am all for free speech but Icke is clearly a certifiable nutcase, and if the Beeb let all similar nutcases on to prime time TV, then there would be no room for anyone else.
If Icke wants to make money publishing his loony theories and books, so be it, but the Beeb shouldn't be complicit in furthering his business.
