And I think the DM must have included that and council tax benefit and other things when they calculated the amount he's getting. In cash, he's probably getting about £70 a week. If it were really easy to get so much money for nothing we'd all be advocating it to our cash-strapped friends and family, wouldn't we?

Do the sums:
£220 disability allowance per month = £50.77
£320 income support per fortnight = £160
£100 a week in child tax credits = £100
£30 per week child benefit =£30
Total per week = £340.77
/// Mrs Barci said her husband claimed £220 disability allowance per month, £320 income support per fortnight, £100 a week in child tax credits and £30 per week child benefit. ///
