Of course not...but this has got me thinking...isn't it about time that we had a female Bond villain?

I don't mean a Rosa Kleb character, but the chief villain. Seems crazy after all this time that Bond hasn't had a female foe.

I know how people feel about a black Bond and a female Dr Who, but surely it'd be okay to have a strong female lead villain?

Why do you want to change a stereotype that is now well embedded.

If you want a female Bond or a Black one then create another set of movies.

I agree a female bond villain would be good.

A female or black Bond would obviously be stupid, because the James Bond character is a white male.

However, the villain can be anyone, as can Doctor Who. He gets reborn into a completely different body every few years, so there's no reason why it couldn't be a chinese woman's.

the first screen Bond was American (Leiter was British and the villain was Peter Lorre). The world didn't end.

It was a useless film with terrible miscasting though.

nothing wrong with Lorre (probably the best actor ever to play a Bond villain, in fact). Can't say much for the rest of it, but it ran less than an hour.
