The bubbles need to get out of the Euro and default. This will have to happen eventually all they are doing is prolonging the pain.

stop bailing them out OG, let nature take its course. At the moment they are like scrounging relative, they won't help themselves until you stop bailing them out.

Whilst possible, that still gives the EU a nearby country with no realistic ability to trade with them at a decent standard. Plus it'd show a failure of the EU idea that all the countries are in it together helping each other out. I'm unsure how big a blow that'd be to the EU, whether they could weather the storm, or face a possible break up. At present it needs your money or risk not surviving.
