Idiotic doesn't close trt !

I find the last line of that BBC Link the most telling.

///The area, in the far north of Japan, is home to wild bears.///

If you go down to the woods today!
Very scary, pray they find him safe.
Meant to say...Idiotic doesn't even come close trt !
This was in Japan, if you go around the world one can see worse examples of how some parents treat their children.
Some folk seem to have no idea of potential consequences, until it is too late. Unless, Gawd forbid, it was deliberate and it was the best excuse they could come up with.

Yes I am aware of that OAG, but not all worst examples are published in the media!
And I haven't the time to go around the world!
AOG, if you go around the UK you can see worse examples.
This was deliberate?? What's wrong with people!

Makes one wonder then, why the great BBC chose to report on a solitary isolated case in far off Japan?
It's under "World News" sub topic "Asia".

Because not many parents drop off their children in a forest and leave him/her there for being naughty!!
What's the world coming to ...kids left in bear infested forests and kids thrown into volcanoes just for being naughty ...madness, absolute madness.
I am not, and was not, a 'soft' parent and have marched off, leaving a recalcitrant child behind - but I always kept an eye on her from a safe distance to ensure that when she became alarmed I was there to call her. This is plain stupid if they knew there were bears around. I wouldn't have done it in UK.

Sounds about right for me.
