/// Mrs Justice Mary Stacey accused Snobs in Birmingham of 'abandoning' the 19-year-old victim to be picked off 'like prey' by two sex attackers, who took the girl's virginity. ///

/// She even suggested the nightclub was partly to blame for the rape by saying they had 'created the circumstances for the crime to occur.' ///

/// In a scathing attack on binge drinking Britain she also blasted the venue's cheap drinks promotions and accused them of acting 'irresponsibly towards their customers.' ///

/// She said: 'Something needs to be said about Snobs nightclub. ///

Obviously something should be said regarding the problems such as this, all down to the failed multicultural experiment?

This seems something like those who blame the vulnerability of the young girls, their upbringing and the way they dress etc, for attracting the Asian child groomers.

No, as then you have nowhere to go for other crimes like murder. It may be a maximum sentence but circumstances would need to be extreme to apply that.
I've been to Thailand and witnessed it.
Yes, it IS a fact hc !!
And I'm talking about this country, where the rape was carried out, not Thailand !
I find it hard to fathom why the night club is responsible for any of this.

The only thing they have done is sell alcohol to people and kick them out when they have had too much and are causing some sort of difficulties. It is easy to say they shouldn't have sold it to her but who is to say she stood at the bar each and every time to get her half dozen shots? Are they responsible for getting her and all the other silly tarts home? Err no.

The nightclub didn't, as far as I'm aware, force her mouth open and pour the drink down her throat. She did that all by herself knowing she would get drunk and then drinker as she drank more.

There is absolutely no excuse for what those men did and they are 100% to blame for their actions. So take them out of the equations and you have a stupid, irresponsible girl who although did not deserve what happened to her was in fact lucky she didn't kill herself.
Silly Tarts? Really?
ummmm consensual sex with a person just under 16 IS statutory rape. I agree it is normally not prosecuted but it is still a criminal offence. I intentionally used that as an example to illustrate the two extremes of the crime of rape.
It's rape if the child is under 13. Sexual offences if the person is under 16.

I am inclined to agree regarding the extent of the criticism from the judge applied to the duty of care and responsibilities of the nightclub.

It's the old hindsight again. How many drunken males and females get separated from their friends and get picked up staggering about walking home at the dead of night or getting into cars thinking they are taxis?

Pubs and nightclub owners up and down the country must be rather alarmed at the judge's remarks.

Is it any worse than the judiciary granting bail only for the offender to go on and rape and murder?

I'd suggest hanging them, but the 'do gooders' wouldn't like it.
The penalty for rape should be a minimum of ten years inside. the same for grooming. Smartarse lawyers who get the obviously guilty off because a full stop is missing or something should also go down as they are just as guilty.
