Now I don't suppose Glastonbury is high on the radar of Eton toffs etc but I would have thought Dave would have set the vote on a different week! Will the remainiacs lose a lot of votes due to Glastonbury?

Unsure why, but I read that as "orgy".
Not that many votes given the huge numbers expected to vote.

And maybe they have a postal vote?
Glastonbury is full of toffs, it is not the hippy festival it once was.
A friend of mine was not allowed to go by his wife until he'd got his postal vote in ...
What about all those fans from eurosceptic England and Wales though at Euro 2016, which europhile Scotland will be at home and ready :-)
yeah or no
they have been told to do their postal votes
( and if they havent then it is too late ... )
it ( Pilton ) is a bit East for oggies

which are Devon or Dorset versions of cornish pasties
tiddy oggies to be exact

but you know - it is a 3T post and adds a delightful oo-ar west country flavour to an otherwise bald narrative ....

shouldn't have postal votes either, if it does not matter enough to vote personally then you don't deserve a vote.
Rubbish of course you should have a postal vote if you are not going to be there on Election Day or are unable to attend for mobility reasons. Tho I agree that it is a privilege when can be abused, and so therefore maybe proof of inability to vote on the day should be provided when applying
If I knew what an 'Oggy' is I might be able to have a stab at answering the question.
Shouldn't be allowed a postal vote?

That's a ridiculous statement - just because someone may be working away from home, on holiday or unable to put one foot in front of the other does not debar them from the right to cast a vote.
Pasty or pastie depending on your spelling Naomi.
? :o/
"Oggy" is a slang term for a Cornish pasty, derived from its Cornish name, "hoggan", and was used by local Devon and Cornish sailors at the Devonport Dockyard in reference to pasty sellers who once stood outside the gates.
Rubbish TTT
I`m from Devon and I have never heard a pasty referred to as an Oggy.
Mamyalynne, thank you, I didn't know that - but the reference to it in the question still eludes me.
Question titles bemuse me on a daily basis and by the time I've Googled acronyms or odd words I've lost interest in whatever the query was.
Haaaa! You and me both! Sorry, no song, but night night anyway. :o)
Night x
My Proof idea required but with moving didn't look I lived here even though the council are quite happy to take money for council tax wasn't going to vote. But gut all my paperwork I have will take to them in the morning to get card
