And hardly news, so I apologise for raising this thread !
outgoing democrat president endorses democrat candidate! Rub me down the socialist worker!

TTT...I am not sure the Socialist Worker has much of a circulation in the States !
And I'm not sure that's where ToraToraTora is so, no problemo.
What's happened to all the avatars tonight?
Can the American people ever have had two such dodgy characters to choose from to become the most powerful person in the Western world.
I must be missing something here.
It shouldn't be assumed that former US presidents (or the incumbent) will automatically give their backing to their party's current candidate. Both George Bush Snr and George W Bush have declined to endorse Donald Trump's nomination.
After the waffle he spouted on his recent visit to this country, it comes as no surprise that he supports a candidate as insincere as she is.
Hillary is the most unpopular candidate - ever ! apparently

I thought Obama was gonna turn his nose up at the task ....
And so let the battle begin.

Clinton though still has two battles on her hand, Trump and Sanders as he is not giving up.

The vote in the US seems to be between the corrupt and bent Establishment (Clinton) and a breath of fresh air teling it how it is (Sanders/Trump)
