There are a lot of workers rights and social legislation that we are signed up to, which right wing conservatives would like to scrap, and that would certainly have a very detrimental effect on the poor in this country. People like IDS would love to do away with limits on long working hours, and minimum wage, but are prevented from doing so at the moment because of europe wide agreements we are signed up to.
Osbornes converse arguement that Brexit is for the rich is harder to square.
