If someone came knocking your door and your neighbour TOLD you that you had to take them in, would you do that? Then a few weeks later another 10 people came and again, your neighbour TOLD you that you had to take then in, would you? ............ This is what is happening to this country, we are told we must take thousands, if not millions of people into our already overcrowded island. Sorry we are full, no more please. It is time to vote OUT on Thursday.

People still believe our silky tongued snake oil Pedlar. He has no care for the future of the UK. Once he has done his dirty work for the EU and sailed us down the river I bet he resigns and settles down to his new trough with the rest of the lying corrupt European shysters. He isn't qualified for anything else. He cant lead on his own and has to be dictated to by...

A great deal of farm produce needs hand-picking, and can't be harvested by machines. If immigrants do not come to work here, no English people will pick the fruit or harvest the vegetables, which will rot in the fields and orchards. Ask the farmers who produce such food.
Can I assume before we joined the EU we left produce in the fields and orchards to rot? (I'm not that old perhaps we did?)

Talbot pre EU the fruit and veg harvest was done by British workers who traveled around the country following the harvest in the various seasons.
A lot of them were what we now call 'travelers' .
The Hop harvest was all done by people from the East end of London who moved into the hop fields with their families and lived there for the duration of the harvest, food and accommodation being provided by the farmer. Similar situations happened for other harvests , Apples for cider for example. Now of course no one wants a temporary job where you only get paid if there is work available. Remember these seasonal farm workers do not get paid if it is raining as the fruit is too wet to pick. Try employing a British worker with a mortgage to pay on those terms !

It showed the depths of feeling some people were showing against immigration and the 'traitors' they saw as giving our country away.
It made people realise the depths the EU referendum debate had sunk to. Why do you think all referendum campaigning was immediately suspended?
It has only been allowed to restart today with both sides agreeing to use a more moderate approach. No campaign tomorrow so as not to overshadow the recall of parliament to make a tribute to Jo Cox and give thanks for her contribution to democracy.

Jo was VERY strongly in support of 'Remain' and the EU,I think a lot of people have decided to support her memory by voting the way she would have wanted.
Also it showed how low a minority of 'Leave' supporters were prepared to stoop and did not want to being seen as 'tarred with the same brush'
It was her killer shouting out twice in court that his name was ''Death to Traitors, Britain First'' that really sealed it.

Eddie, //I think a lot of people have decided to support her memory by voting the way she would have wanted. //
If it's true that some people are suddenly willing to risk the future of this country in memory of the victim of a crime, then they are brainless. Condemn her murderer and respect her memory by all means, but let's not be unrealistically stupid about this.

Jourdain, // For some reason it seems to be affecting the national thinking over the future of this country. //
Is it though? Are people really changing their minds because of this - or is it something else that's being conveniently manufactured - in which case I agree with Togo. It is a despicable strategy. (Did you mean 'rational' rather than 'national?).
