At 17:12 today you, utterly disgracefully, branded Nigel Farage responsible for the appalling murder of a British Member of Parliament. My life is not at its beginning and therefore my vote in this referendum will not be for me but for the welfare of this country and for the prosperity and well-being of its future generations. Yours will be for you and you alone. I have nothing to be ashamed of - and if that's taking the moral high ground, so be it. It is the moral high ground.
If I was Nigel Farage I'd want to keep quiet about Remain trying to capitalise on the Cox murder, whether true or not, as it is likely to be counterproductive.
Why? Because it will only reinforce the association, real or otherwise, in the minds of many, that there's a connection.
I can have some sympathies for the other Leave campaigners here. Many were distinctly uncomfortable about having Farage on their side. To date the embarrassing relative has been relatively restrained, but oh my gawd he's finally showing himself in his true colours, with anti-immigrant karaoke, and pointing his finger rather too vigorously at the guests.

jomifl; // Naomi, please explain how my looking after my perceived interests is morally inferior too you looking after your perceived interests//
I can't speak for naomi, but your statement shows that self-interest is your main reason for your stance. Does it not occur to you that some people are capable of looking beyond self-interest?
Some British people are capable of embracing a larger picture than your self-serving attitude. I too am an expat and I may (or may not) find leaving the E.U. has a deleterious on my personal being, but what I think is paramount isn't about ME, or the fiscal matters of the "expert" bankers and David Cameron's scaremongering, but one of Sovereignty and IDENTITY.
I'm tired of listening to double-speak and lies in the name of self-interest, my Dad gave 5 years of his life in the RAF to keep Britain free and my grandfather was severely wounded doing the same in WW1.
If I were to tell them that their country was prepared to hand over that indepedence to a bunch of non-elected self-agrandising beurocrats in Brussels, I think they would feel I had failed them.

Khandro, You stated earlier that you are thinking of your children's interests, so perhaps not so noble after all, just self interest of a different kind. My objection to the leave campaign is that it is promoted by people who only have self interest as a motivation and they don't give a toss for the millions of people who will be adversly affected including the UK. They are quite happy to jump lemming like off a cliff and drag everybody with them without any idea of the consequences and they don't really care.
For Ichi and Jom. Last night, the 'proper' British people showing what they thought of Nigel.

That's Nigel for you tho. He has a large following of 'proper Brits' or whatever, but the people who matter now are the undecided, and I'd say he'll not be winning too many of them round. In short, he needed to stay in his box and let the sensible Leavers to the business. These Nuremburg style rallies are not what they need
I'm slightly reminded of Neil Kinnock's ill fated 'victory rally' in 1992
'Alright-ight!'

Appears you have lived amongst the cheese eating surrender monkeys and contracted the Gallic malady. Me Me Me.
IF (big IF) we win The Brexit vote it would seem you have backed the wrong continent to reside . The UK press tell us that more than 50per cent of our continental heroes in France and Italy want to demand a referendum to leave EU if we succeed. The Dutch and Swedes are hoping we leave also so they can lobby a referendum. If your kin suffered for the liberation of France then they are shown
little gratitude and betrayal for their pains . Seems you are happy to betray the UK as well as your kin. Shame on you. Not surprised you live in a nation who is dominated by the Unions and happy to destroy their own Country by selfish Gallic indifference !!
