I am delighted to be wrong. When I went to bed last night I was very sad, everything was pointing to a remain. So thank you fellow brexiters everywhere.

Congrats. Jeremy Corbyn should go - the Labour party wasn't galvanised and that sunk the ship. Pound down now to 1.37 and 1.24 on the Euro, UK FTSE will be suspended later as the prediction is min of 5% off, Nikkei at 8% off already.

My pleasure tora. ;o}
I'm delighted to have been wrong too. :o)
Extraordinary times ahead. £ has already fallen 3%. Gawd knows what will happen with Scotland and with the Irish border.
You took the words out of my mouth, Tora. It's good to be right.
I feel the same excitement as when I heard that the war was over in 1945
Thank you.
Congrats.

http://www.tradingeconomics.com/stocks worth watching - most Asian markets down.....
Let's hope it's a clean, quick break (highly unlikely under article 50). Any dithering about will make the RoTW uncertain of our standing and be potentially damaging to trade.

cheers all, DTC, BA for you, you must be as dissappointed as I am amazed. Yes arjay, I feel strangley liberated too, not comparable to 1945 but a small sample of what it must have been like.
Nice to see you magnanimous in victory Tora. I'm reeling. Will be glued to the news all day.
Have to say I'm shocked,............. But look forwrd to ALL the benefits promised from the leave politicians. Thank you in advance !!
Proud of Great Britain.
Congratulations Britain, perhaps we have delivered salvation for Europe once again. Does this mean that Scotland may hold another referendum and leave the UK. Talk about double result. N.I. As well for that matter time to let the Irish fight each other. 5/1 on Dt?? The money was being put on by Brussels themselves, siphoned from the dirty fund, to lower the odds and influence the electorate via public perception. I did warn of such many months ago, again the idea was pooh poohed. Never, ever trust a bookie.
From the Cambridge Uni website:
//'Under Article 50, as set out in the Lisbon Treaty, the UK would remain an EU member state for two years while negotiations take place. There is a possibility for the timescale for negotiations to be extended, says Armstrong, but any EU state could veto any extension forcing the UK into a take-it or leave-it dilemma as the clock runs down.

Vote Leave argue that Brexit could utilise alternative legal procedures to extricate the UK from the EU, citing the example of Greenland’s EU withdrawal, or using the Vienna Convention of international treaty law.//

Strange times ahead.

I think this is the first domino, the EU will collapse now. As Nigel is saying right now, lets have a Europe of sovereign nation states cooperating without all the EU silliness.
Tora - Nige has just asked for 23rd June to be a bank holiday called Independence Day.
Question Author
good idea zacs, that's what it is.
He's waiting for somebody to say ... ''no let's call it Farage day'
DTCwordfan says Corbyn must go. Surely Cameron, too. He took the biggest gamble of his political career and it blew up in his face, spectacularly. Interesting to hear what he has to say at 8 this morning.

I pity those of you in the Leave camp - you must be very short-sighted.
