I have a feeling that if Boris does get the top job , hed surprise a lot of people.
Call him a buffoon etc but hes well educated, intelligent etc, but as is the norm the politics of envy clouds their thinking..
Hes no mug thats for sure..

Writing on Instagram alongside a video of a waving European Union flag, he used the hashtag: “B****rOffBoris” and encouraged people to share his concerns.
In a message of sadness about the referendum result but hope about the future, in which he promised to “work harder than ever to make this work”, he added: “But I Beg you one thing Great Britain? Give me Boris ***g Johnson as our prime minister and I’m done. I’m out.
“So speak up people – let’s stop being spectators! We cannot let this happen- share the *** out of this!! #B****rOffBoris//
Mikey finds this acceptable, a very public fit of pique, and done to catch the attention of the like minded childish temper tantrum inclined . But 3T making a small gesture of dismay, at the cook's temerity, on AB is not.

Togo....I never said I agreed with Oliver, or that I think what he said was acceptable. I certainly don't support his use of foul language on a public webpage like BT's.
The point I am making here is that he every right to express an opinion, in exactly the same way that you and I do. Because he is a celeb doesn't obviate that right, but we don't have to listen to him do we, just as I don't always pay much attention to our more rabid AB posters.

“…but celebs seem to think they can lord their "wisdom" over the masses with impunity, that's what gets peoples backs up.”
Exactly. And I think the support the Luvvies and Celebs gave the Remain campaign probably accounted for many of the 1.3m majority that “Leave” secured.
I’ve never liked Jamie Oliver very much. Always seemed to be a jumped up cook who might do reasonably well as a supervisor in a factory canteen (provided he was not allowed too near the stoves and ovens). His political opinions are even less important to me than his cooking.
In the turbulent times that are to come we need a leader who will put the needs and wishes of the people of the UK first and foremost. There are precious few of them around because they’ve all spent their entire careers being told that the European Project transcends national interests. And unfortunately almost all of them believe it.
