This appears a change of heart by Poland. This wasn't what they said about us when Brexit was announced. Nethertheless what he said is true and he put a shot across Merkels bows at the same time.
The cracks in the wall are appearing. 617 has done it again. :-)

The Poles are our biggest ally in Brussels. They have always been on our side, whatever they said when the result was announced (I can't find anything negative), it was probably regret at them losing a friend.

The Law and Justice Party are in the same Reformist Group in the EU Parliament, as the UK Conservatives.
Asked for a second referendum as well eh?
//Asked for a second referendum as well eh?//

Another one who doesn't have our country's best interests at heart.

Careful now, retro. "617 has done it again" might be considered as some to be in the same genre as rhyming slang.
Au Contraire, according to Retro's title N.
Poland may well love us - but this man's prime concern is Poland - not us. That said, deciding to leave a club doesn't mean we can't retain old friends. We were friends long before the club ever existed.

Exactly.They dont want to queer their pitch with the UK now.
I note 88% of the Dutch wish a referendum. Just saying. The cracks are appearing!!
// 88% of the Dutch wish a referendum. //

Slightly economical with the truth there.
88% of the readers of a right wing newspaper 'Der Telegraaf' (Dutch eqivalent of the Mail), want a Referendum. Not a national poll.
Not a national poll, but I'm not convinced it isn't somewhere near the truth. I listened to an interview with a group of young Dutch people a day or so back. One of them said, 'Everyone loves Europe but everyone hates the EU'. I think that about sums it up.
But as we know, it's not a right/left political issue. Major parties of both left and right in the UK wanted to avoid taking control and leave as many decisions as possible in the hands of the EU elite.
like old times retro!
'Everyone loves Europe, everyone hates the EU' - sounds familiar. I think that applies to France, too.
