A Great Summer Of Sport ...

... sadly (unless you are able to actually watch everything live) it is currently being seriously compromised by unthinking thread titles (let alone the content of the first post) here on AB.
I'm currently quite busy during the day time, so am recording most events for evening digestion - but so far this week I've had a couple of Euro 2016 matches, the Austrian GP, some Wimbledog tennis and a stage of the TdF ruined (or at least my enjoyment curtailed) because someone just can't think of others before posting a thread.
Don't give me the 'just don't look then' eyewash - it ought to be possible for me to have a quick gander at CB and News without seeing blatant results showing in Latest Posts.
PLEASE STOP DOING IT - AB is losing enough members as it is, without driving even more away with thoughtless posting of sports results. A nice anodyne title, some non-committal stuff in the original post & then just fire away in subsequent posts - anyone who is reading at that point wants to know.

Yesterday, I deliberately didn't watch the News or come on here, in case I found out who won the Austrian GP.
I certainly agree with the titles of posts, Not including the outcomes of events.

I suppose it isn't funny if you've recorded to sit and enjoy an evening of sport and you see the results in latest posts....especially if you work during the day.
If you're interested in a variety of sport then you'd have to stay pretty well cocooned all summer to not see the result but good manners on AB wouldn't hurt and it is really easy to start a thread and have a long discussion without giving results away to somebody who hasn't had the luxury of watching live....that'd be nice, wouldn't it?..x

I can see where your'e coming from sunny-dave
This post heading last sunday flashing up in latest post rather spoilt it for me , given that i had recorded the race for consumption later .
''F1, Well Done Lewis....''
It is very easy to start a thread with a heading that does not give the game away .
In this instance - something simply like ' F1' for the heading would not have told me that Hamilton had won the race
