Maybe they did went and it were shutted?
I suspect that there has been a rise in new cases of HIV and “someone" thought this would be a good idea of putting the issue back into the news. Prince Harry does a lot of work with organisations concerned with the wellbeing of young adults. Well done him.
I don't see quite why there is this fuss over having an HIV test. I had one back in 2004 a bit after my Hip Replacement because I had to have plasma from a donor. (You give your own blood in 3 sessions a couple of weeks before your op. so you get back what is yours - but I needed more.) Not a fuss, no problem, no stigma or anything. Seems to be a bit of showmanship to me, trying to bull-up image and forge own direction. Nothing wrong with that.

PS Jordyboy has said what I have thought since Harry was about 5!
Jourdain. Are you sure you had an HIV test, it takes a few minutes ?
Absolutely, anne - I have the piece of paper with the negative result.
Duh. You had the HIV text after receiving plasma ?
It was probably the French equiv of the NHS....SNS? Service de Santé National?
Well I think that was what they said, it might have been full blood - it was a good while ago and my medical French wasn't of the best then - by latest hip (2014) I was really up to it and did not need transfusion. Anyway, I promise you that I had an HIV test; I got a certificate on my Carte Sanguine - have it in my handbag now to prove my bloodgroup etc. in case of accident. Maybe they do it differently over there? :)
Definitely in Scotland - it's the AIV test - % alcohol in the veins test - anything less than 30% considered serious - remedy a course of Buckies....
Why is it a ''good idea?''
Because there are still those who think 'AIDS' stands for > *** Injected Death Sentence !
I think this is a serious topic DT.
^^ I despair at the AB censor, since when has An@lly (meaning, introduced via the back passage) been a swear word ? I hope no one asks how to use a suppository?
Quite agree, EDDIE, I have used normal words and been censored, too.
Anne, I too thought it was a serious news thread when I answered hours ago, soon got the message.
It was anneasquith until the comments about Harry's parentage started being thrown in........and then it all goes off-topic. sadly. :o(
