Strictly speaking, he was outspokenly against the Iraq Invasion (a) only after it occurred and (b) mainly to start with at least because it was messing up his finances. Beforehand he was in favour, albeit only in a half-hearted way to be fair, but to suggest that he was outspoken against it is stretching the truth to the point of breaking it.
Also, that nuanced explanation of how Obama and Clinton may have had a hand in creating the conditions in which ISIS could then flourish is *not* what Trump said. He said that they were the founder and co-founder. Explicitly, unambiguously, clearly, and repeatedly, until the utter crassness of phrasing anything that way was finally pointed out to him.
You can't just retcon what Trump says to make it look profound when it really isn't.
