Of course we only have Virgins word for it that their service was magnificent and there were plenty of seats.
If they had CCTV footage of Corbyn dismissing empty seats, why did they not supply it?
Even if Corbyn did fake it, the thing he was trying to illustrate is a reality for many commuters.

Full Nationalisation of the Railway is a terrible idea, and would make things far worse, not better.

It does have stills but they are not time stamped. Often the trains are packed leaving London and the train empties the further it goes. If they stills are near Newcastle then you would expect there to be some empty seats.

As I said previously, sitting on the floor was for illustration purposes. I remember Mrs Thatcher picking up litter, which had been conveniently scattered for her by her aides minutes before. Similar here.

The seats in this photo appear to be all reserved or occupied. There doesn't seem to be any seats for people that have just bought a ticket.

Anyone who travels on inter-city trains knows full well that people who have reserved seats do not always travel.

If you wait a few minutes after departure, you can often find a reserved seat that is unoccupied, and use it.
