A year on and some are still trying to twang our heart strings in their attempt to take more migrant children into the UK.
I say if it is proven without doubt that their families are already in the UK then of course let them join them.
But don't let it work the other way, by allowing the children into the UK only to be followed later by the adult members of their families.

The family were already safely in Turkey, there was no need to attempt that perilous crossing.

Let these (so called) refugees live with them, and pay for absolutely everything out of their own pocket. This includes private education, private medical care (as our schools and NHS are already overloaded), clothe them, feed them, and foot the bill until these kids are able to be completely independent.
And if they end up being criminals, pay all the legal fees and the cost of keeping them in jail.
I’m sure it’s very easy to say “look at me, what a good person I am” when you will not be directly affected by what you are campaigning for.
