The only thing that would annoy me about politicians' sex lives is if they were failing to practise their own preachings. And I'm not even all that cross about Major calling for "back to basics" while canoodling with Currie, party leader or not.

/// Why am I being silly yet your saying he did well because white folk are in the minority is sensible? ///
Keith Vaz is not only Labour, but also of Indian parentage, and Leicester has a high percentage of Indians and other such ethnics.
Please try and keep up, it's not rocket science.

/// you certainly have the thought processes, and the language, of racists, AOG. ///
You forgot to include, "in my opinion".
When the race card is played against me, I automatically know that I have jangled some very raw nerves on the likes of you.
/// It is very unpleasant to read... ///
Then the solution is very simple, don't bother if it is so unpleasant for you, it must be those raw nerves.

AOG....(14:41 )....
As DTC has pointed out, whites represent about a third of the population, but the Tories accounted for only 23% of the popular vote.
And guess what.....the Tory candidate was a chap called Kishan Devani, another non-white !
So, its not the ethnicity the candidate that won the day in May 2015.....it was because he was a Labour candidate.
Apart from a brief period in 1983, its been a safe Labour seat since 1945, long before most of the Asian population moved there. Even in the 1920's, it was a Labour seat.
Lets face it, if the Tories were more popular in Leicester, they might have held the seat more often.
