Feel absolutely shattered. Got home about 7.00. Journey was ok, didn't see a single immigrant at Calais though quite a few policemen around.
Thank heavens found the freezer was still working, it must have just been the. Door coming open that made everything defrost.
Nice to have Internet on tap and not to have to go to the bar to get on line.

So you had miserable time on holiday but at least your freezer didn't conk out. If this is a holiday review it's a very bad one. Were you expecting worse?

During the holiday my daughter phoned and said the freezer had defrosted and all the food was thawed out and there was a horrible smell and water everywhere. She cleaned up and took all the ruined food down the tip.
The freezer door was open, we don't know why. When we got home we tested it by making ice cubes and it worked. So we don't need a new freezer just to try to claim for all the ruined food, the freezer was full by the way
But we had a lovely holiday.
