Queenie has agreed to this post so I hope it brings her comfort - to show we are remembering her Mum, Nungate today with love from us all at AB.

We are thinking of you and the family especially today Queenie and remembering all your Mum's humorous posts on here. Take care. Ann x

Here is a poem which helped me 2 years ago when my Mum died .....

Feel no guilt in laughter
She knows how much you care ♥
Feel no sorrow in a smile
That she’s not there to share
You cannot grieve forever
She wouldn’t want you to
She’d hope that you would carry on
The way you always do

So talk about the old times
The ways you showed you cared
The days you spent together and
The good times that you shared
Let the memories surround you
A word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture
A time, an hour, a day

That brings her back as clearly
As though she were still here
And fills you with the feeling
That she is always near
For if you keep those memories
You will never be apart
And she will live forever
Locked safe within your heart.

" You are the kind of person
Who leaves lovely memories behind
And special days like your birthday
Bring many fond memories to mind
And memories are possessions
That time can never destroy
For it is in happy remembrance
The heart finds its greatest joy."

Treasured thoughts for Nungate and love to all her Family ♥
Wishing you happy and joyful memories of your Mum on this day, Queenie ♥

With happy memories of Nungate, my best wishes to her family today :-) x
Thank you Ann and for those that have left some lovely wishes and thoughts. The poem you have up Ann and Mamya are lovely. I'm doing better today than I've done all week.

Dad and I are off to Chatsworth House. Mum always wanted to go sadly she never got the opportunity - but the plan was we would go this year so Dad and I are still carrying out that wish.

Will stop in again later to see you all

Q xx
So sad that nungate is no longer with us. I shall think of her today, and her family.

I hope you and your Dad enjoy Chatsworh House queenie. Your Mum would be pleased that you are going there together, as she would have liked to do. xx
uched miss her on here.good memories
Have a wonderful visit to Chatsworth.x
That`s a lovely poem Ann and from your recommendation, it was read out at my Mum`s funeral.
Had a fabulous time at Chatsworth. Mum would have loved it! Got some photos and some postcards and I'm going to make a scrapbook. I've told dad I want to go back as there was so many things we didn't have time to see.

Thank you again for all your kind words and wishes. It means a lot to both dad and myself.

Glad you had a pleasant day at Chatsworth Queenie. Its a lovely place, very peaceful in the grounds especially seeing the fountains and the cascading waterfall. Hope the weather was as good as here in Leicestershire - mostly sunny and fairly warm. What a nice idea to celebrate your Mum's life in that way - sad that she is no longer here but bringing back memories of happier days with her. I have been thinking of you and your Dad xx

237 - So pleased you also liked (and read out) the poem I quoted at your Mum's funeral too. I'm sure my Mum would have loved it as it says everything we feel and miss about our loved ones.
Glad you've both had a good day - and...relax! :-) x
So glad you had a good time queenie, a scrap is a good idea.
Hi QoM, I am pleased to hear you went ahead with your visit, just what Nungate would have wanted. She was a lovely lady and it has been a pleasure to know her ( albeit on here ) . xx
The weather was glorious! I saw the cascading waterfall - beautiful! I love waterfalls - no idea why but I'm at peace when I'm near water. Dad bought us an ice cream - which was lovely cooling too.

I'm very very relaxed in the car - getting hungry now so hoping will be stopping for some tea soon.
