Maybe Mr Khan was mentioned because it happens he is the Mayor of our capital city, a city that is becoming increasingly unsafe.

Yes Mr Johnson was the last Mayor and Mr Livingstone before him, and yes perhaps they could have helped to prevent this decline, but that is irrelevant to the present situation, Mr Khan has chosen to take on the position of Mayor of London, so it is now up to him to address London's problems.

I think we would be the first to hear about it, if he had taken certain steps to reduce the killing problems in the Capital.

Someone thinks they are white, now someone bets they're of black origin, children of migrants.
Maybe we should wait and see whether the culprits are caught. The police are no doubt making enquiries and probably have some leads so don't need to issue a description. Giving their colour and approximate age to the public at large, including people on AB many miles away, maybe wouldn't help and could be a distraction. The facts will come out in due course and probably quite soon
