Lets hope so, the country has been ruled by a minority for far too long.

Going to be a long hard job digging them out of the civil service, Police, Judiciary and schools though.

The beginning of the end for quite a lot - and the end of the beginning for even more. More power to her elbow! Great speech!!

Yes it was.

I had my doubts but she is certainly talking to me now.
Perhaps if people like Mrs May were more sincere, there would be nothing to scoff at.

But if you say you are going to reduce immigration to tens of thousands and then let in 300,000, people are going to take the *** out of you.

In her previous job she let down everyone concerned about immigration, and now she is trying to shut up people who might remind her of that fact.

She is just a typical politician teying to brush her past mistakes under the carpet, and rewrite history.
talking is easy. Doing things (for instance, setting up an inquiry into child abuse - how's that going?) can be trickier.
Where were her concerns during the EU ref ?

Now that the vote has been cast , she now feels the need to sound concerned and tough ?

Gromit, as you well know thanks to membership of the EU and consequently membership of the ECHR May's hand was tied. The blame lies directly with Dave for promising something we all knew could not be achieved.

Now, thanks to those of us with a pair we can remove those shackles and get on with making our country great again. All the Anti-British had better start looking for somewhere else to live or change their tune.
//" thanks to membership of the EU and consequently membership of the ECHR"//

The EHCR has nothing to do with the EU. Many that voted leave in the referendum appear to have been unaware of this.
I think you may have meant to say the ECJ which is the the highest court of the EU.
a
We're opting out of that too .... the EHCR that is.
Please, don't be fooled into thinking she's anything but just another politician playing to the gallery.
Whatever she says, it's all just chat.
Re. OP : I really, really, really, REALLY hope so.
Oi! Ymfbog - I sincerely hope that the reference to 'a pair' includes those of us with 'a pair' above the waist!
She's just trying to mop up the UKIPpers with all that nonsense.
Her speech was Miliband with a sprinkling of Blair and a topping of Farage so that people would not notice what was underneath
