//"Plaid Cymru will never sign off or endorse something that is bad for Wales//

Are they going to be asked to sign something?

Like jimmyK, more delusions of grandeur I think.
I don't support PC, and never have. But Leanne is fighting her case, which is what she is paid for.
Sorry Mikie but she is not paid to fight HER case.
danny...she was elected to carry out PC policy. It may not be what you and others wanted but she is free to carry on doing this job.

Although I am not a PC supporter, I just wish the Labour Party had someone feisty like Leanne !
My point is that she is paid to represent PC not herself.
Danny....PC, like Labour, the Tories, the Libdems, and the SNP had a policy to REMAIN. Post-referendum, PC still does.

That is the point I was trying make, although perhaps not as clearly as I would have wished.
OK
Thanks Danny. We don't usually disagree with very much !
The policy to remain is dead and buried, it's time they embraced the new future.
I doub't anyone will watch it but Leane Wood uses a much used AB tactic in the clip. Given undeniable evidence of what Brexit would mean as far as the single market goes ... she ignored it.

A majority in Wales voted for Brexit, 854,572 votes (52.5%).

Plaid seem to be ignoring them. Not a good position for a major party to take.
Talbot,

Neill seemshimself confused in that clip. People voted to leave the EU and we will. That does not mean we cannot join the European Economic Area if we want to.

quite gromit but if they demand unreasonable pre conditions they can shove it.
Tora,
More likely they will tell us to shove it.
Question Author
I do hope so gromit.
Mikey, //PC, like Labour, the Tories, the Libdems, and the SNP had a policy to REMAIN. Post-referendum, PC still does.//

So much for democracy. That's worrying - don't you think?
She should and maybe does accept the majority vote in Wales and across the UK, but that vote was only on the IN/OUT choice. There are lots of possible OUT models and if she is representing her party's view that free movement should remain under whatever is agreed then I'm not sure what is wrong with that. I doubt the final Brexit solution will please all Brexit voters,
If the vote had been 52/48 in favour of Remain I'm sure UKIP and Brexiters within the Tories (and some in Labour) would still have been pressing for a reduction in free movement and reduced powers from Brussels. It's what parties do.
fiction-factory, //if she is representing her party's view that free movement should remain under whatever is agreed then I'm not sure what is wrong with that.//

An end to freedom of movement was one of the fundamental principles of the 'Leave' campaign. That’s what’s wrong with that.
