andy-hughes, your statement was inaccurate.

My view is, if you eat meat, then you are a hypocrite if you protest in any way about any of the degrees of 'humanity' used to kill animals for food.

Two words.

Monkey brain.

belladonner, you're making it up! Where have I accused andy-hughes of 'making it up'?
Naomi - //andy-hughes, your statement was inaccurate. //

Which one specifically, I have made a few!
//if you eat meat, an animal is going to suffer and die so you can do it. //

As I said, die yes, but suffer - not necessarily.
belladonner

/// oh dear the school playtime bell must have rung. ///

You are alright, don't panic, it's half term or did you forget?
Why the hell was my answer removed?

Anyone who thinks the 'so called' delicacy of eating monkey brains can be compared with buying a steak from Asda needs their head looking at.
Naomi - ////if you eat meat, an animal is going to suffer and die so you can do it. //

As I said, die yes, but suffer - not necessarily. //

We can agree to differ on the minutia of the argument - I don't think that the risk of any animal suffering pain is acceptable if you are going to argue the suffering issue, but is not the termination of the animal's life before its natural end in old age seen as suffering?

I would suggest that it is.

Perhaps the careless wording of your post could be seen as directly insulting another AB'er, in contravention of Site Rules.
There was nothing wrong with the post. Perhaps some ABers are not as educated as they like to profess

Both those points are a matter of opinion, not fact.

Let's not pursue this shall we? Or more posts will be removed.
Threats ... smashing.
andy-hughes, Wow!!
Talbot - //Threats ... smashing. //

That was not a threat.

You and I know that posts discussing a removed post are in their turn removed - I simply stated that fact.

There is no threat in that observation, and I think you know that.

According to the dictionary it was a threat ... but hey if it makes you feel good to remove answers knock yourself out.

I'm getting past caring.
