The article doesn't say if the victim was Asian or white. I'm guessing Asian. The Mail article would have been far more incandescent with rage if the victim was white.

Lots of things for us to make assumptions about;
1. The ethnicity of the victim (before we go squandering our precious reserves of sympathy);
2. The religious affiliation of the victim (ditto);
3 and 4. Similarly for the perpetrators (Asian doesn't necessarily mean Muslim).

Although Gromit was trying to be funny I think he has raised a valid point that I had missed that being the problem Muslims have with homosexuality. It is quite o, as Gromti points out, that a Sharia Court will deal with the rapist better than we can.

youngmafbog, not in Britain, it won't. The Sharia courts in the UK cannot break the UK law so couldn't send them to prison.

They will be properly dealt with in the Crown Court
