But I can see how Farage would not be happy with someone pushing dodgy trade deals with the EU yet consider the UK sufficiently unimportant (special relationship or no special relationship) to agree a decent (or any) trade deal with in the near future. Put that on top of clear encouragement to lose the courage to retrieve our sovereignty and remain in the EU and he is almost bound to feel that way.
He says it like it is and where I think he shouldn't be using words like loathsome or creature (there are plenty of depots and dictators that fit the bill more) he is right n that Obama was more pro EU than we would like.

I expect he’s a bit miffed because Obama tried to influence the outcome of the EU referendum by saying that if we left, as far as trade with the US goes, we would end up at the back of the queue. Coming from the leader of a country that is supposed to be our ‘friend’, that’s pretty loathsome.

But how on earth would Farage find the time, what with his full-time job as a MEP ?
Well, of course, he could probably fit in a few visits to Washington, in between his infrequent appearances at the EU !
