Despite appearances, Trump is not a fool.

He knew full well that all he had to do to win was convince enough of those who don't usually vote to turn out and vote for him. He knew these people had limited intellect and if he convinced them that he was their saviour they would do it. So he said anything and everything and they latched on to whatever piece of *** that suited them.

Look at how his stance changed when he got the nomination, then when won the election. His stance will continue to change when he gets to work.

Moreover, all he has to do is turn the trillions spent by previous administrations on futile warfare into productive infrastructure development and he will indeed make the US prosperous again.

The Democrats best hope is to find a woman called Lisa Simpson as their next candidate.
