So big companies are being encouraged not to pay for advertising in publications not approved of by the 'Stop Funding Hate' campaign.
This'll be newspapers such as Daily Mail, Express etc that publish articles seen as Right Wing.

Is this a good thing or does it lead to an unbalanced media which only allows liberal left views?

So news papers cant tell the truth anymore without being accused of preaching hate, I'd love to see the articles that lego consider hate speak.

Imagine if every company did this, the only news we would get would come from the Guardian and the Bbc.

Long since stopped reading any newspapers. Admit to watching BBC/Sky News and sometimes othe news channels. To answer the OP, yes I do think it will lead to an unbalanced media if companies are persuaded to withdraw advertising from right wing media.

It lost its meaning quite some time ago. Every time we allow unsavoury truths to be labelled 'hate' we slide further down the slippery slope of accepting politically correct censorship.
