Obvioysly Boris' offer to help Tirkey join the EU is meaningless. The UK will have left the EU long before Turkey will be in any shape to join. So the offer is empty.

Also, Mr Weber seems to be expecting Boris to be consistent. He is not familiar with how Boris ticks. Boris will say anything to get elected, but he won't always deliver on his promises. Mr Weber Is probably unfamilar with Johnson's mayorship of London and his poor record on delivering his promises.

I thought the Germans loved millions of immigrants whereas the British people have said enough is enough. So the comparison with what he said during the referendum lead up is irrelevant.

Plus if he winds up and EU mandarins he has my vote.
