Where on earth does this utter disdain for strangers from another country come from? .... and all because they didn't vote for your preferred candidate in THIER country ... like I have said before, you are a premier league bigot.

Hans.....The honest truth as I see it, is that Blair delivered us from another 5 years of chaotic rule by John Major, and won another two Elections after that.
He broke the dreary logjam that was Tory rule. And if he hadn't stepped down in favour of the truly awful Brown, he would probably have won an historic 4th Election.

I know I have come to this thread late and haven't read all the replays but it was inevitable that a lot of reteric is just talk and bluster to get elected. Trump is NO different to any politician saying what the people want to hear.
In any case the FBI or justice system or whoever it is that decides these things probably put him right on things.
More of his 'promises' will fall by the wayside as they do with anyone who wins an election. It will just be by degrees as to what power he ACTUALLY has.

Anyone here who thought that Trump could easily get his ridiculous ideas through senate and congress is either daft or deluded, so if they voted for him on the basis of those promises, to me they are fools and if they can't see it now, even bigger fools.
I find it unbelievable that absolutely anyone thought he could do these things.

If they don't know who they vote for, and a suspect the vast majority do, then that would be because they chose not to consider the situation seriously and opted to choose an individual based solely on the party they joined. Still doesn't mean that they voted for a party, merely that they didn't look further than that when voting for an individual to represent them.
