DB....your implication is disturbing, given the gravity of the situation. Lots of people have debated this issue over the last 3-4 weeks.
As Anne and jno have said.....its headline news, that should be discussed. Its your attitude that I find strange.....I take it that you have nothing interesting to say on the subject ?
Perhaps you think that we should sweep it under the carpet ?

divebuddy - if you are going to be even-handed in your inference that Mikey's interest in this topic is 'unhealthy' - will you be offering a similar observation next time AOG posts a thread about Muslims and / or immigrants?
His postings are a mainstay of the News section, and I think he is perfectly entitled to post what and when he wishes within the rules - as I am sure you do.
But you will need to make the same point in his direction in order not to be seen as criticising on AB'er unfairly.

I lost my internet connection late last night, and it wasn't restored until early morning today, hence my not responding yesterday.
Thanks to all those that support the continuing investigation into sexual abuse in football, especially YMB ! Despite all the apparent evidence to the contrary, YMB and I do agree at times....I wish it happened more often.
I shall continue to post further important news items on this subject, as I think right and proper, but I would question some peoples view that we shouldn't discuss and debate a subject that is fast becoming bigger than the Savile affair.

Talbot - //I do support these investigations but I think it is better to have fewer threads rather than many threads strewn all over the show. //
All threads on all sections have a built in success / longevity factor - those that attract interest and debate continue, those that don't simply lie on the system and are ignored.
If anyone thinks that there is too much of one subject, they can vote with their keyboards - it is not a reason to suggest that people should not post on issues which they feel they wish to discuss.
