Last time I looked Scotland was part of the UK so what does she think she's going to "negotiate"?

I cannot see a need for negotiations at all. If I join a club ( any club) & I wish to leave, I leave end of. Stop dragging the feet & get on with Brexit ASAP.

Nothing, she just has ideas above her station.
Well, someone has to have proposals eventually.
I've no objections to her making suggestions, or even making plans on what she may want to pass in Scotland after they have left the EU with the rest of the UK, but no, she should have no more influence than that.

It's much the same situation as described in TWR's Wonder/Londoncentric thread.
Damn this lack of edit facility !!!!!!!

Jackdaw's Problem thread.
The people of Scotland have shown quite clearly that they don't want BREXIT TTT !

That might annoy you but its a fact. When the Referendum for Scottish independence was held, Westminster fell over backwards to persuade the Scots to vote no, which was successful. It isn't in the interests of Scotland, or the rest of the UK for Scotland to break away.
Mickey. Can you read what you wrote and tell me what exactly you are getting at. Seems rather garbled. Do you think she should have a say or not and what has independence got to do with the question?

"The people of Scotland have shown quite clearly that they don't want BREXIT TTT ! " - so, no doubt, have the people of Islington but the UK voted as a whole, so that's how it's counted, irrelevant local variations my give the SGB some succor but they have no bearing on the democratic will of the majority.
She's an embarrassment.
YMB....if I understand the news this morning, Sturgeon is saying that she wants more powers to be devolved to Scotland, to allow it access the European single market. She makes a case that this is in the interest of the Scottish economy.

She said: "Losing our place in the Single Market would be potentially devastating to our long-term prosperity, to jobs, investment and people's livelihoods."

She has been elected the First Minister for Scotland, not for England, and her responsibility is to Scotland, not the rest of us.

I am not saying I agree with her but this is how she and her Party sees it.
Can you not call her by her given name?
