Google Responds On Skewed Holocaust Search Results

This follows on from an previous discussion on here about holocaust denial.

But according to the link above, the racist white supremacist site Stormfront still commands the top rating on the UK Google site, but not now on the American one ....curiouser and curiouser !

Not really. google.co.uk and google.com are separate search engines in some respects, even if the underlying code is of course the same. For example, google.co.uk is subject to EU laws concerning the "right to be forgotten", or what have you, while google.com isn't.

The strange thing for me is that, before this latest change, my google Uk results for that question returned only "positive" responses in the top ten, and in fact only one "negative" result on the whole of the first page.

Today, I get Stormfront as No1 (after the paid ads), and two additional negative results on the first page.

The algorithm of a search involves many parameters, including location.

Put 'football' into a search in the UK and the the same search in the US, and you get entirely different results.

Google or any other search engine are not giving incorrect results, or denying the narative of the holocaust, they are just presenting data in the order of the popularity of a site. Stormfront appear first not because it is right, but because they have had the most views. It is simply wrong to expect Google to falsify the results to please those who deny the search results.

it seems possible that as this has become a news story in the past week or so, mroe people are checking it out and ending up on Stormfront than would normally do so, though without necessarily wanting anything to do with it.

You do realise that Labour has jewish Members of Parliament? Miliband was the son of a jewish immigrant. Many former Labour cabinet ministers were jewish.
