She was part of my early teenage. Sad. RIP, Mary. So manhy of us modelled ourselves on her for a while.

She seemed to epitomise the "all American" clean cut girl. Very sad news. RIP, Mary.

at the time she was sort of like a funnier version of Jackie Kennedy. The DVD show had great scripts from Carl Reiner, who also appeared in the show. I always thought Lucille Ball was too screechy, but DVD and MTM got it just right.

She seemed to have some pretty awful plastic surgery in later life, which I think was a shame, thlough it kept her smile; and she was very ill for quite a while.

She was marvellous in "Ordinary People" for which she received an Oscar nomination. Part of my TV life really....RIP Mary.
