The gov't is bringing in new laws to control the use of laser pens.

Let'as hope they set a significant MINIMUM penalty to stop the gullible judiciary from issuing suspended sentences, community orders, and similar ineffectual deterrents when faced with sob-story mitigation.

This activity essentially amounts to attempted murder in many cases.

Transport Minister, Grayling, said "we know laser pens can be fun...." How are they fun?

Anyone who has one on his or her person without good reason - like on their way to or from their own business presentation - should be locked up or fined.
Never teased your cat getting them to chase the dot ?
My cat has two little lasers - he thinks they are fun.

I thought that there rules in place. If there is any chance that they will cause harm a giant rethink is needed.
Ok, I forgot about teasing cats with them. That is fun. :)
I had to read your post three times to ensure i had read it right, i never thought the day would come you and i saw eye to eye on anything!
Not fun for the cats (or dogs) that yobs hold down and shine into their eyes thus blinding them - bloody things should be BANNED !!
