Sqad...unlike you, my only contact with the NHS is as a end-user, or in my case, the brother of an end user. (He has now had his titanium plate fitted, but has developed pneumonia, so is still very ill. His care in ITU is exemplary I might add)
But he hasn't spent the last few hours, on a trolley in a corridor somewhere.
I don't pretend to have any magic bullets but all the other various bodies do, like the RCN, the Care Quality Commission, etc, etc do.
You will familiar with the long lost of organisations that have been telling us of this present crisis for a long time now.
Of course the NHS needs a complete overhaul, but that won't help the situation NOW. Bed blocking is also a problem, mainly caused to the near collapse of social care in the local community, because local Councils are being strapped for cash.
Mrs May appears to have done a secret deal with Surrey CC....would that other Councils had the same political clout as Surrey !
