Corrie Mckeague: Police To Search Landfill Site In Milton
http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ news/uk -englan d-suffo lk-3893 2290
At last ! The Police should have done this months ago.
"Det Supt Katie Elliott said searching the site in Milton, Cambridgeshire, was "the next logical step."
Katie....that "next logical step" was in September last year, not after nearly 5 months of tipping has been done. I hope that if and when Corrie's body has been found, an Enquiry will be launched into the Police's actions in this case. Woefully inadequate so far, and this is the son of a serving Police Officer we are talking about.

I don't mean they literally were untrue - more that it's all bizarre enough for me to have no theories at all.
Probably wouldn't have been a bad idea to search the tip earlier, all the same; it seems like such an obvious lead.

Islay....I don't know about you but I consider that to be a monstrous thing to say about his Mum !
The reality is if they had searched the landfill area properly, or at all, in the immediate aftermath of his disappearance, we could at least have narrowed the options down a bit.
Instead, we are no nearer the truth here, than we were last September.
And to suggest that there has been some kind of collusion by the RAF is about as stupid a post as I have ever seen.
