Most Americans couldn't name a single British politician....they can barely recognise their own. When I have asked the younger generation of American kids who Churchill was, they just give blank looks.

Its not just the Yanks....we were discussing on another thread a few days ago, about some daft young woman who was asked on a daytime TV quiz program, which former Labour Leader was the father of the Aberavon MP, Stephen KInnock. Even when given his surname, she still hadn't a clue.
