Although I think he has got off to a bad start with the press with his war on fake news (perhaps he wants to address the content rather than just shout 'it's fake') I do feel they have jumped on the bandwagon and deliberately misinterpret or exaggerate their claims.

It is a good speech, considered in isolation. If it did not contradict so much of what he'd said in the past few weeks and months it would be an even better speech. It was declared by Republicans as "presidential", which I interpret as "the kind of speech that a president would make" ... unlike much of what's gone before. So, which is the real Donald J Trump and which is the fake? What are the real policies and what are the fakes? Which is the real news, and which is the fake?
