Local Pub Quiz, Help Needed - Newspaper Comic Strips.
14 Answers
I'm currently writing a charity quiz, and one round involves matching the correct comic strip to the correct newspaper.
So far I have used Fred Bassett, Rupert Bear, The Perishers, and If...
The list on Wikipedia of comic strips is a little out of date as I'd rather use strips that are still running. However, the websites of certain newspapers don't feature the comic strip pages (at least not to non-subscribers), and typing in "British Newspaper Comic Strips" in Google just takes me back to Wikipedia.
I'm looking for what strips are currently printed in The Sun, the Daily Star, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, Metro and i. Having flicked through them in the newsagents this morning, some of this titles don't appear to have any comic strips. Or am I being completely mistaken here?
Many thanks in advance for those who can answer!

Can't use Andy Capp as "The Mirror" is already covered by The Perishers answer.
The Guardian is If...
Fred Bassett covers the answer for The Mail
And Rupert Bear is the answer for the Daily Express.
So only need lists of strips from The Sun, the Daily Star, The Times, the Daily Telegraph, Metro and i. Thank you!

I've given you the Telegraph. Most other newspapers don't carry comic strips. (Those that used to are likely to have dropped them because they no longer pay non-staff writers to produce work for them. Times are hard for print newspapers, with the majority likely to cease production within the next few years).
If you'll accept one which only finished a few months ago though . . .
