As an ex-BT worker, I have mixed feelings about this. I hope this new deal doesn't mean that Openreach staff will get poorer working conditions and benefits.

Its worth bearing in mind that Openreach is not being "privatised"......it will still be owned by, and have its budget set, by BT.

The split has only been agreed because of pressure from Ofcom, and not before time.
