Google, which owns YouTube, says sorry for extremist content

Google's European boss has apologised after adverts from major firms and government agencies appeared next to extremist content on its YouTube site.

from banks to media outlets, m and s, sure they are delighted to be looked at on these extremist sites..
I suspect that, for example, someone posting videos supporting Islamic terrorism might not be too happy about ads for British army recruitment or M&S pork pies appearing alongside them!
They have nothing to apologise about. All youtube creators who use AdSense agree to have any ads on their channel - it's like a billboard space they give over to youtube to rent out. There's no connection whatsoever between the content provider and the ad.
