I am not an Islamic apologist, I think it is a vile religion. What I am concerned with is the risk of more terrorist attacks, and what we take and learn from this one.

Dave, there are many people here who will defend Islam and make excuses for it in practically all circumstances. In other, more uncomfortable, circumstances they remain silent. Take a look at Khandro’s ‘Where are your Jews?’ thread where the silence from the usual supporters is deafening.

From your link
Adrian Ajao, 52, who killed four people, including a police officer in last Wednesday's attack, is understood to have been probed six years ago over alleged connections to four al-Qaeda-inspired terrorists.
SIX YEARS AGO!
Now read my link from last week! , which says that after extensive investigation the police are convinced he acted alone and no more attacks are planned.
