It Is Not Possible
To leave the EU with exactly the same relationship in trade we currently have.
To have exactly the same trade deal is to be in the EU.
Therefore the Labour Party is setting out very early that they are going to vote against the final deal. Is this a vote winner for them or are they shooting themselves in the foot?

Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway all do it, as members of the EEA. Switzerland also does it without even belonging to the EEA.
However the one thing which the EU insists upon for those trading relationships to remain in place is that those four countries all accept the same 'freedom of movement' rules which apply across the EU.
You can't have one without the other.

Samjenko - //Yep, if we don't get exactly what we want out of the deal, we'll have no deal whatsoever. //
I don't believe that is so.
The essence of trade is negotiation - each side working out what they want from the deal, and what they are willing to give to get what they want.
The rest is just details - but rest assured, we will trade with Europe because Europe wants and needs to trade with us.
