After 7 years of Tory-led government the Opposition should be sucking up Tory seats like a Dyson, not losing their own hand over fist. This does not look good for Jezza & Co. come the 8th June.
I'm eagerly looking forward to the spin from Labour and Money!
Bloody predictive texting! For Money read Mikey.

Yes, but still no sign of voting Tory very much either !
Mikey, does that really mean anything at all? I might be wrong, but as far as I'm aware, unlike Labour, the Tories who have now made gains never were popular in Scotland - and look what's happened to Labour.
Naomi, you may not be aware because you are obviously too young, but back in 1955 50% of Scottish MPs elected were Tories.
Jackdaw, thank you. I stand corrected. Sixty years ago the Tories enjoyed some popularity in Scotland - but how long is it since Labour enjoyed similar popularity?
But that was when they were conservatives and human beings.
Douglas, you always make me laugh. :o)
Good. :)

Can anyone remember Nicholas Fairbairn, the Tory MP who succeeded Douglas-Home? What a clown he was, all kilt and no kecks.
Glesca, Tora, Glesca.
That's SIR Nicholas Fairbairn to you, Jack! Not just 'all kilt' but he used to go 'full plaid', too. Fond of contentious statements and a dram, he died of cirrhosis of the liver
A dram? More a distillery!
