Once the News section was the most popular section on AB, but it now seems that the crossword section has taken over?

Taken over?.......The World?
The Crossword section has always had the most traffic and actually has the most 'members'.

Too many lectures being delivered on the News Topic for my liking.
Does it matter?
I don't know if that is true anymore. There are a lot of members missing from the crossword section.
"Crosswords" has seen a big slide in the number of Q's being asked.
Apart from the crossword and media sections it mostly seems to be bickering. Puts me off.
It's not all plain sailing in there AOG - you sometimes need body armour.

Do you do crosswords at all?
I checked one day last week and the average time between questions was over an hour.

Don't take it too serious Tilly, part of it was meant as a humorous play on words.

But then if you want to take it serious, perhaps it is one example why this site is not the site that it once was?
AOG - It is always the site it once was, and simultaneously, never the site it once was - life's like that.

You are obviously only speaking for yourself, the 'bickering' as you call it is all part and parcel for it's once popularity, how many posts on the other sections reach 200 plus answers?
A large amount of abers were introduced to AB via " crosswords" it is the glue that keeps AB going.
Oi, AIG, don't try and blame it on me!

The thing is, it doesn't really matter if crosswords has more posts than 'Crosswords', does it?
Could it be because of the bickering and insults freely exchanged on News - surely not?
