his apprentices tried to deflect the fire from their boss by saying it was down to one of them. Trump got in a huff at the suggestion that he would allow an apprentice to make decisions, and insisted he did it himself. There's probably more ego than accuracy in any of this; but it seems more than likely that it was indeed Trump's work.

Trump is trying to lie and not being very successful at it. His White House team are trying their best to catch up with him and they aren't being very successful either.

I've said it before on AB but I repeat. I would not want to be one of Trump's spokes persons .There has to come a time when they simply refuse to pass on the lies and 'alternative facts' for fear of being 'tarred with the same brush'
Even the poor old VP is starting to sound as though he is fed up with having to support Trump's incompetence and the mishandling of the news reports.
What would happen if the VP just stood in front of the cameras and said 'I can no longer be associated with the misinformation and lies the President expects me to endorse'' ?
I really can see it happening.

He is promoted way above his natural ability, and he rarely gets anything right. Most of his pre-Election policies are either abandoned, deemed illegal, or have yet to become reality.

Trump says it like it is in the same way that broken watches are right twice a day. On a couple of policies he's cycled through all possible stances in a single day.

He doesn't say it like it is -- he just says it how you like to hear.

While they probably knew what they were in for when they took up their jobs, he is making them work awfully hard, just to stand still.

like a new employee on their first day, difference is he is supposed to be running a huge country, but like that guy in the philippines
i can see no good coming from it in the long run, being a president is not like being in boardroom of his business.
